“Continuity and Gains Over Time”: An OER Project Fitness Series

OER Project Team
Washington, USA

As we all spend more time at home, you might find yourself doing something you don’t do much as a teacher: sitting. Get up and move!

Join Mike Skomba (OER Project teacher extraordinaire and the 2020 New Jersey Strength Coach of the Year), along with other OER Project teachers and team members, for a weekly movement session. Mike is hosting a free, 4-week online fitness series for World History Project and Big History Project teachers!

Every Friday from March 27 to April 17, join Mike at 10:30 AM PST for a half-hour guided virtual workout class. Check out the details below! In case these times don’t work for you (or you love the classes so much you want to do them again!), we’ll update this blog weekly with a recording of each session, along with the workout plan in .pdf form.

(and if you’re curious about the name of this series, think of it as one our favorite WHP skills progressions, Continuity and Change Over Time [CCOT], but with a fitness twist!)

When?

10:30 AM to 11:00 am PDT on...

What to wear and how to prepare?

This 4-week fitness series does not require any previous workout experience or special equipment. All you need is activewear, space, and gravity. Come learn proper movement patterns to balance out all of that time in front of your computer!

We are super grateful to Mike for this awesome opportunity. Hope to see you there!
