Climate Project Extension is a three-week supplemental unit designed specifically for high-school social studies and civics classrooms. In this course, you and your students develop an understanding of the global carbon problem and plan actions to help the world achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Integrating, synthesizing and applying social skills, students will deepen literacy, research, presentation and career development proficiencies.

During this session, participants will review materials to help them plan and prepare to teach Climate Project Extension. Participants will have time to interact with the course materials from both the teacher and student perspectives; review pacing guides' discuss implementations and ask questions in collaboration with OER Project team members.
