Creating Climate Champions: A 3D Approach to Teaching Climate Change
The scale of the contemporary climate crisis means that every teacher at every grade level must be in a sense a climate teacher if we are going to successfully prepare the younger generation to make positive change. In this session, led by Indiana University Professor James Damico, we'll explore ways you can begin or scale up climate education in your classroom. Creating climate champions is about guiding students to be climate denial detectives, climate justice delegates, and climate action doers, a "3D" model of teaching will also improve students' digital literacy and connect them with useful resources.
