The second annual OER Conference for the Social Studies is from August 3 to 5, and we can’t wait to see you there! In addition to an amazing line up of keynotes, live discussions and 70+ TED-style pre-recorded talks (we call them Track Talks), we also have a robust community discussion forum where you can discuss OC for SS programming and content before, during, and after the event.
To help you stay on top of the discussions happening now, expect to receive our twice-weekly OC for SS Community Digest between now and the conference. We’ll use these digests to highlight can’t-miss conversations on the OC for SS forum. Check out these first few threads down below!
Just Mercy Book Club
Our asynchronous OC for SS Book Club is finally here! Grab your copy of Just Mercy by our Keynote Speaker Bryan Stevenson, and then join us in discussing the first few chapters, starting tomorrow July 15.
Evidence and Reasoning
Our community can’t stop talking about Track Talks and now it’s your turn! Check out this conversation on Nate Otley’s How to be a GOAT at Evidence and Reasoning, and see what teachers are raving about.
What can we support you with? We’ll find a Track Talk for you!
