Some teachers feel like students have to be engaged through something "fun," but we have found cross-curricular discussions to be incredibly effective as they not only promote engagement, but also foster relationship building. In this talk, we will share our unique approach to meaningful discussions to achieve deeper learning, which strengthens rapport and in turn engagement. Though both have always been essential for effective teaching, they are more important now than ever.
