  • I got several takeaways from his presentation but the story that resonated with me the most was the one he told about a woman who went to Alabama to collect soil from a place where her ancestors were lynched and the response of a white man who approached her. It was a powerful story of redemption and healing. Hope has to animate our way to move forward, and we can definitely operate this superpower in the classroom if we are intentional and deliberate with our teaching. #OERscavengerhunt
