  •  I sure did like the engagement I was able to get in the chat when we were on Zoom.  I'd send kids a personal reply via voice-messaging to encourage that kind of commentary.  It's time-consuming for sure, and during Zoom I could manage it.  I'm thinking out loud about when we are back full time next year how to keep "chat" going even while having a live conversation in class.
