Creating Young Citizens Through Global Projects - Don Jenkins

Don Jenkins
Middle and High School Social Studies Teacher
Oak Harbor, WA

Learn how to connect your students with other classes around the world in meaningful projects. Hear about specific examples of how I have connected my students with other classes in Israel, India, and Germany. Connecting your students with other classrooms around the world in real world projects opens them to new ways of looking at the world and solving problems which can help them become active citizens at the local level. Global projects are also engaging, fun, and can be done in any grade or subject.
