The I-R-A Method is an acronym for Inquire, Research, Activate and was developed by Ravin Joseph. Students learn to develop their ideas, foster analytical skills, collect relevant information, organize, set goals, find creative ways to communicate and take action. The I-R-A method can be used as an independent assignment or as a group assignment. This method is a means of empowering students to take ownership of their learning by mastering skills that will assist them in becoming active young citizens.
