California

California teachers should request approval from their school/district to receive salary credit for participating in the OER Conference for Social Studies. Visit the CTC website for more information on eligibility and learn how to request school/district approval. https://www.ctc.ca.gov/ If approved, California teachers should fill out the conference participation verification form linked here. Florida

To determine if inservice points may be awarded for participation in this conference, Florida educators will need to work with their respective school or district’s professional learning office. A current list of professional learning directors for each school district can be found on the Florida Department of Education’s website [link to: http://www.fldoe.org/teaching/professional-dev/pro-learning-contacts.stml.] If approved and eligible, Florida teachers should fill out the conference participation verification form linked below. 	Michigan The OC for SS has partnered with the Michigan Council for History Education to offer SCECH hours for conference attendance. After the conference, Michigan teachers should complete the Google Form below. You should receive your SCECH documentation within 3-5 business days after submitting the form. 	Ohio To be eligible to receiving continuing education credit contact hours, Ohio teachers must have an approved Individualized Professional Development Plan (IPDP) on file with their Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC). If your IPDP is approved, please complete OER’s Professional Development Evaluation and Clock Hours Verification Form. Please submit the completed form to ocforss@oerproject.com to receive your certificate of attendance within 3-5 business days. 	Pennsylvania Pennsylvania teachers should fill out the conference participation verification form linked below. Upon receipt of the certificate email the form to paul.cindric@aiu3.net in order to request your ACT 48 hours . 	South Carolina Educators holding a South Carolina Department of Education issued professional certificate are only eligible to receive renewal credit for professional development activities at the approval of their employing South Carolina public school district or renewal entity. 	Washington Washington teachers should register for the conference through both PD Enroller and the OC for SS site to receive credit. Upon completion of the conference teachers should fill out the conference participation verification form linked here. Be sure to check the box indicating you would like credit for the OC for SS through PD Enroller. Upon completion of this verification form, be sure to sign and save. Submit the completed form to kari.tally@k12.wa.us. Upon receipt and verification of your submission, a certificate of attendance* will be sent to you in 3–5 business days.
