September 9 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. PT

How can we better connect our students with individuals, groups, and events from times and places that may feel distant? Primary sources! The thoughtful exploration of primary sources in world history instruction can be an inquiry-rich approach that supports student engagement and critical analysis with contextualization. During this session, educators will unpack OER Project’s approach to using primary sources and have the opportunity to practice using some of the strategies needed to aid student mastery of upcoming units of study.
