Rediscovering Ancient Ways: West Asia & North Africa

December 10 from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. ET / 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. PT

How can we offer students a glimpse of what life was like for ancient peoples? Learn about the beginnings of our lives as humans with educators from the Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures. The Institute's research has shaped our understanding of many aspects of ancient life, from early urban environments to the origins of food production in West Asia and North Africa. Teachers can expect to learn the ISAC approach to object-based learning, and how artifacts can connect our present to the past.
