Activities such as the World Zone Game,  Age of Adventure, Claim Testing – Expansion and Interconnection, as well as several fun graphic biographies provide many opportunities for students to engage while learning about the expansion and global interconnection that took place as a result of the development of agriculture, larger cities and expanded networks.

I just discovered the World Zone Game.  This is really great for my time crunch class.  While playing this game, I can pack in a lot of information that might otherwise take days.  I keep discovering these gems floating about in the OER Community.  I do like the new format of having everything in time periods.  Makes the crossover between my classes easier.  I teach a European History class, so can't use all of the OER materials, but where I can pick and choose, I DO.
