Penn Museum's Food & Flavor exhibit

My students always enjoy when our lessons connect to food (World Food Cafe, anyone??) and Penn Museum, a local enough place to me, has a guided tour of their new exhibit: Ancient Food and Flavor. Any teachers in the Philadelphia area planning on going? I'd love to connect in September during these Saturday tours.

Not local enough / can't make it? What questions do you have -- I'm happy to take photos, report back here, put together some lesson adjacent material that we could use with our students?

Photo of a pizza I made, since it wasn't possible until the Columbian Exchange. :)

And while we're talking edible history, does anyone use this YouTube channel (Tasting History) -- I just came across it and it looks so interesting as an extension component for many eras of history.
