AI and the Future

I know author Yuval Noah Harari is a favorite here in the BHP community. So, I thought I'd share this recent interview he dd with Stephen Cobert.  His book, Sapiens, comes up a bit but they get into a pretty interesting conversation on AI and its potential in the future.  Really cool comparison to what the future meant to people in the past and what the future means to us now.  If you're into this stuff, it's certainly worth the time to watch.

  • Oh wow! I came across this thread at the right time. My students will be returning their hard copies of Sapiens tomorrow. We have the end of Unit 9-Unit 10 left to learn and I was planning on placing a focus on AI. Since my students read (most of) Sapiens, this is a perfect transition video to get us into the Unit! Thanks for sharing  !
