India's Partition????

McCalla Hill I used this from New Visions.  It was "short and sweet.!"  Here is the Partition specific part.  Here is another one that I have used.  It is a mixture of materials.  We only spend one day on India in Unit 8.

Janet Mann these are excellent resources to include in our courses. Though the scope of Big History does not give me time to go in depth with this content, I can use it in other courses where these colonial conflicts are thoroughly covered. In fact, I saved the first to complement my teachings in AP Human Geography political boundaries.

Definitely Janet Mann  Exagonal thinking will be a great way to make multiple connections, but more importantly, explaining those connections and supporting claims with evidence. Thank you for the reminder!

I've been using Hexagonal Thinking as a strategy for review in my APWH course, and I think it could been a great tool for the Climate Project. 

There's so much interconnected with Climate - maybe you can have different categories of Adaptation, Mitigation, Innovation, and students can see how they might connect and work together.
