Origin Stories using puppets and dioramas

Laura Massa
Laura Massa over 1 year ago

During the summer, I visited a puppet museum that showcased examples from different parts of the world. The visit inspired me to implement a similar activity for the Origin Stories project. I suggested creating simple puppets using paper and designing them with AI tols on Canva. Some students chose this approach, while others opted for dioramas. Here are some examples.

What approaches do you use in your courses?

These are amazing Laura Massa ! I decided to add an artifact component to this project this year. It was very open-ended: create something to represent or inspired by your origin story. There were dioramas, masks, Minecraft Edu worlds, and even a macaroni pasta sculpture. I'm including a few photos for inspiration.
