Evolution Comic Experiences?

I'm going to be out for a few days next week.  I'm staring Early Humans this week and I was looking for an activity for my students to work on next week while I'm out.  I was thinking about something that I haven't tried before and came across the Evolution Comic activity.  Before I assigned it, I was just curious if anyone has done this before.  How did it go? Any pointers? Student work to share?

    This is a great project idea that a sub should easily be able to handle and will be engaging for students,  .

    I have not done this one, specifically, but I have done something similar with a timeline human development-- from about Australopithicus to Homo Sapiens. When Homo Naledi was discovered, we did something with just the highlights of the "Homo" genus. 

    The activities were confusing and fun at the same time. Some good conversations and thinking.
