What Do You Know, What Do You Ask/ Homeschool

Greetings everyone, I'm brand new to this community and am looking for ideas for additional events that work well with the What Do You Know, What Do You Ask activity.  I'll be teaching a group of middle school homeschool students this coming schoolyear, and I am thinking that since I'll have the kids only once a week, it might be beneficial and good for discussion to do semi-regular WDYK, WDYA activities to continue reinforcing the idea of the disciplines all year long.  

Also, if there are any other homeschoolers out there, I'd welcome any tips on using BHP or other OER programs in the homeschool setting.  Thank you!

    I teach in a public school, 9th to 12th.  I use OER materials for all of my classes, even the ones that are not specifically OER.  I stumbled upon this thread, and really like these "What Do You Know" cards.  I'm planning to EMPHASIZE Claim Testers and really teach kids how to question what they read and hear, and how to ask their own questions to probe ideas and research.  The OER assignment has the cards that match BHP content, and I just used AI to make some similar ones for my world history class "Great Inventions."  I love how these cards can help kids find new angles to research and things they can say in presentation, or sources for reports.  If anyone wants to know more about what it took to make the new cards, message me.  The full PDF of my custom cards is linked below.  This is a very cool way to get kids thinking big picture.  THANKS for touching off a new idea
