Last year on the OER website I found the activity "How Oceans Connect Us," but now it appears to be gone. Did it get retitled or removed? Did anyone save it to their personal files? I was hoping to use it this year.

Hi Philip Gerhardt , I'm pretty sure we've never had an activity called "How Oceans Connect Us". We do have two activities that might work for your purposes. The first one is in our WH Origins, 1200, and AP courses called "Visualizing Oceanic Empires" and the other is in Big History and it's called "Geography of Connections". We also have a blog about Oceanic History with some ideas about how maps can help illuminate the importance of oceans. If you think it was in last year's Big History course, you could have a look at the older course website to see if something jogs your memory. I did have a look through the materials and I don't think anything fits exactly with "how oceans connect us". There is the older "Impacts of Interconnection" activity but I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.
Thanks for getting back to me. I made a note in my lessons for that unit that this activity was on the OER website, but I could be wrong. I'll take a look at what you sent. Thanks!
