Starbursts elements with their symbols to select Superhero Elements

Starbursts elements with their symbols. Ripped open our big paper star (my version of a supernova) and students picked up an element to do their Superhero Element Project. Shout out to   and  for the idea/inspiration/conversation. A lot of fun for my kids and I think the experience will help them understand the concepts.

  • Full disclosure: I picked Starbursts because they are easy to write on and I don't have to worry about allergies. It wasn't until a colleague pointed out to me that the name of the candy is Starburst and that I'm simulating these "elements" bursting out of a star.
