Wrapped up the Mini-Thresholds of Life last week. Students did a quick card sort at the start of class to identify each of the mini thresholds and then answered the question, "Why was each mini-threshold a necessary step in order for the next mini-threshold to happen?". They then did the Mini-Thresholds of Life Foldable Project where they needed to identify each of the mini-thresholds of life, the date it occurred, its characteristics, and a picture, as well as make a claim about what they thought the next mini-threshold of life might be. We then finished the class period up with them completing a quick CER about their next mini-threshold.
