The museum was a huge success this year! My students loved it! There's such an enthusiasm around it. When asked what their favorite part was, they mentioned teaching kids about their civilization and why it was important. My students are 8th graders and they present to 5th graders. The 5th graders were very interested as well. Overall, one of my favorite assignments all year.

Sherry Atta , this looks like an amazing experience for the students! They probably will remember this forever. I'm sure it took a lot of effort to organize. I love how you had your 8th graders present to 5th graders. They'll be looking forward to doing this project in a few years.

Thank you, Hajra! It really was a great experience. Some of my students now visited a couple of years ago and many have older siblings that participated in it. They're excited for the museum project coming soon!

We're going to change it up this year. Rather than present in the Media Center to large groups as we did in the past - given the times, we're planning on having the 5th grade classes watch the presentations from their classrooms via webcams and Zoom. I hope it will have the same effect.
