I am not familiar with AERO. What is that?

If you find a set of standards that mirrors AERO, you will see the corresponding Climat Project activities.

Hello Ella! I was not familiar with AERO standards before, but after googling them, I've identified a few that I think can apply.

• 1.12.a Identify and evaluate longterm changes, enduring influences, and recurring patterns in world history.
  • I would say you can use the concept of extractivism and land exploitation and even colonization as an example of recurring patterns.
  • Climate change itself I would argue is a longterm change that's a reaction to those recurring patterns.
• 1.12.c Interpret graphic presentation of quantitative data.
  • You can look at various data like carbon and temps etc.
• 2.12.b Analyze how cooperation and conflict influence political, economic, and social conditions
  • I think you could look at how different policies put together by various cooperative organizations have impacted climate change, like the paris climate accords etc.
• 2.12.c Evaluate efforts to resolve conflict within and among nations.
  • Same as above.
• 2.12.f Evaluate the effectiveness of international organizations.
  • Same as above.
• 2.12.g Analyze how cooperation and conflict influence political, economic, and social conditions.
  • Same as above.
• 2.12.h Evaluate efforts to resolve conflict within and among nations
  • Same as above.
• 2.12.i Analyze effects of differing national foreign policy positions on international competition and cooperation.
  • Same as above.
• 2.12.e Analyze the causes and effects of alliances and multinational organizations.
  • Same as above.
• 2.12.d Analyze how trade has contributed to cooperation and conflict.
  • You can show how trade and production contributed to carbon emissions and environmental destruction.
• 2.12.l Explain how powerful entities, such as countries, corporations, and religious institutions, have influenced conflicts and cooperation in the world.
  • You can focus on how corporations have influenced climate conflict.
• 3.12.c Explain how social, cultural, political and economic factors shape and are shaped by the physical environment.
  • You can talk about resources and climate vulnerability.
• 3.12.d Evaluate the impact of migration on the structure of societies
  • You can talk about climate refugees.

I will stop there but this is just to illustrate that you can connect this with any number of climate change related topics and justify it. It's all in how you say it.
