These three lessons are a great way to integrate some climate education into almost any class you are already teaching.
In the “Intro to Climate Change Pathway” Introduction to Climate Change Lesson Plan each lesson is very well laid out, with links to all resources.
What I like best about the first lesson is the closing activity, “Elevator Pitch”. After an opener, a video, and an infographic, students develop a one-minute explanation in their own words to explain “What is Climate Change?” It is a creative activity that also hints at a way for students to take civic action.

My Lesson Two favorite is “The Impacts of Climate Change”. It differentiates between “direct” and “indirect” impacts, and why we should know the difference. https://www.oerproject.com/OER-Materials/OER-Media/PDFs/Climate/Unit-2/The-Impacts-of-Climate-Change?share=embed&fromlesson=true
Something I think is a “must do” for the third lesson is the article “How Can We Take on Climate Change?” It discusses “mitigation”-- trying to cut down and eliminate the causes, vs. “adaptation”-- how we try to reduce the impact of climate change we already experience.
Have you tried any of these lessons? What did you think?
