Do you leave your leaves?

Every year about this time there is a new article out about why it is beneficial to leave your leaves in your yard, instead of raking them up and getting rid of them.

Instead of an article this year, I'm going to give you some images to consider. Is this a topic that you might discuss with your students?

  • Here to report an update! I totally thought about this post the other day,  ! Unfortunately, a school shut down near me. Because the school is no longer open, it is fall leaf city!! Not sure who is supposed to be keeping up with the property while it is closed, but for now, there are tons of leaves ! I very frequently park on this block, and the amount of birds that have made the trees on that block their home has increased (in my opinion). Kind of cool if this is one of the reasons why!
