Hello Ella! I was not familiar with AERO standards before, but after googling them, I've identified a few that I think can apply.

• 1.12.a Identify and evaluate longterm changes, enduring influences, and recurring patterns in world history.
  • I would say you can use the concept of extractivism and land exploitation and even colonization as an example of recurring patterns.
  • Climate change itself I would argue is a longterm change that's a reaction to those recurring patterns.
• 1.12.c Interpret graphic presentation of quantitative data.
  • You can look at various data like carbon and temps etc.
• 2.12.b Analyze how cooperation and conflict influence political, economic, and social conditions
  • I think you could look at how different policies put together by various cooperative organizations have impacted climate change, like the paris climate accords etc.
• 2.12.c Evaluate efforts to resolve conflict within and among nations.
  • Same as above.
• 2.12.f Evaluate the effectiveness of international organizations.
  • Same as above.
