Are you looking for a Climate Quickie?

There are so many resources in the Climate Project course and so many ways to teach it!

For those of us who want to work a piece of the Climate Project into an existing course-- Maybe a unit or just a few lessons-- how do you decide what to choose?

I suggest first that you examine the choices in “Pathways”.

To get there: Open up the Climate Project course, scroll down a bit on the main page, and click on “Course Pathways.”

If you just want to dip your toes in the water this year, I recommend either the “Introduction to Climate Change” or the “Decarbonization Pathway”.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these? What information or advice can you offer?

Later in the week, I plan to zoom in on my favorite features for each of the pathways above! Come back again!

What I like about this is that it sort of eliminates the ability for a teacher to say they don't have enough time, because it lists the days right there.

Yes! This is so helpful. It takes the guessing out and really helps with planning. I have a habit of trying to plan several weeks in advance but don't always have time to preview all of the materials. Knowing a range of how long each pathway will take is amazing.

Glad you find this useful, Andrea Wong

I think a week of lessons well-placed between units is a nice "break" but one that is also informative and productive.

For those extra-careful planners, you could even tuck it onto the end of a unit that seques into climate-related issues.
