Images to help show relationships in content

Many of my students really benefit from visuals that help describe the connections of complex concepts. The acronyms -- ahem, initialisms -- that are in the crash course video (step 3 in the 1.4 International Climate Goals lesson) overwhelm my MLs in particular, and I drew this on the board this morning to help show relationships between the various groups.

How else do you show relationships between concepts in your courses? Are there other everyday visuals that you use to create connections within the content?

Love this! What if you flipped it on the kids and had them make their own infographics?

I use and have my students make infographics in my class. I'm lucky that my school has a Canva account which makes it easy to make great graphics. There is a free version as well that is very useful and has a lot of great templates.
