*Paid* opportunity to participate in research [Sanctioned by OER Project]

Dear OER Teachers,

A U.S. Department of Education project will be offering paid stipends to OER Teachers to participate in research if we earn Phase II funding in early 2027.

A demo of the technology, which aims to support personalization for students, can be found one minute into this four minute video summarizing the project (from Edify, makers of MusiQuest). OER Teachers will help shape the direction of product development, and may participate in usability and feasibility studies with their classes.

OER Project Academic Lead Chelsea Katzenberg has vetted our work, and given us permission to post here to introduce this opportunity, and our project, to the community.

If you are interested in participating please complete this brief survey so we can reach out to you later this year.

Thank you so much, and we sincerely hope to contribute a technology of value to the OER Project community!

Jacob

What a great opportunity. Thank you OER and Chelsea for bringing our community another unique tool to pilot. I appreciate that NPT is full of "vetted" articles as well as language translations. Individualized/adapted articles per student is incredible!

Thanks Christine. Feel free to just throw your email in the form above if you want – no need to answer other questions – so we can stay in touch just in case. We'll be doing research studies in the 27-28 school year as well if we receive the funding and also recruiting an ongoing teacher advisory board.
