Fun with Language

Jason Manning
Jason Manning over 1 year ago

As I started Unit 6 and I am prepping for Investigation #6 "How is Human Language Different from other Species?"  I used a lesson that was shared with me from my colleague Todd Nussen , now I am pretty sure that it was given to Todd from someone else in the community so I want to give a big shout out to whoever created this because the kids loved it.  I am paying it forward by highlighting the lesson again, the directions are self explanatory and you can take it in many different directions but it really shows students how important language is to human development and the role language plays in collective learning.

Chris Scaturo gets credit for this one.  Shared it with the community years ago.  I've just made some modifications.

If you ask my wife, I'm sure she'd say mine was pretty close to a caveman's proposal.

Where is the "marriage" in that, Chris Scaturo ??

And not to sound sexist, but have things really changed that much????

    Slight smile
