Sharing some Hunter-Gatherer Menu examples in case anyone can use them!
Excellent examples - I can tell your students put some real effort into these and that they really understood the content and rationale behind the project.
Very nice of you to share as well. In my experience some students struggle with the assignment because they're not quite familiar with what goes onto a menu - especially the descriptions of the dishes. Teachers can definitely use these as top notch exemplars.
Adam Esrig if you are ever looking for more examples, holler! I have started to save several examplars to scan and use in the project presentation. Last year, I kicked things up a notch by displaying the menus in menu holders. It was a hit!
We just got done with this project. It's a sleeper. Should get more attention.
We 'role play' a restaurant setting. One group takes turns waiting on the table and the other group 'Karens' the wait staff, which basically means they're claim testing their ingredients, paleolithic tools, and viability of the sourcing.
Very funny and interesting role play variation, Mike Skomba !
