Hello again, all!
I came across this recent video from SciShow today about an ancient Roman shipwreck, the absolutely huge number of lead ingots on board, and the way those ingots have helped and continue to help modern scientists research questions of the universe and how it came to be (matter, dark matter, anti-matter, etc.). Thought I would share here as I am also sharing with my new science teacher colleague at our new middle school about possible ways to align our course topics.
For me, it would be with EAL 7th graders, so we may have to be careful about how we'd implement the content to make it comprehensible, but I'd love to hear ideas from everyone else at all levels! Is this something you'd use? What other direct connections do you like to draw on to go interdisciplinary with science? As our school years begin, this is a great opportunity to share out ideas.

P.S. Hope everyone is staying nice and cool. It is positively scorching here in Guangzhou, China. The humidity isn't helping much either.
