Inspired by tonight's PD session on differentiation with Dr. Rachel Phillips, I thought I'd share instructions for a mini research project that my students are working on right now. WWII is a topic that always leaves me grappling with the breadth vs. depth conundrum, so I use this opportunity for students to generate a research question and do a deep dive into a topic of interest. They can present their findings in a myriad of ways.
Does anyone else have topics for which they like to offer student choice as a means of differentiation?
