Industrialization (1750/Unit 3)

It's that time of year again when all the lessons are FUN-FUN-FUN!

We did the Urbanization Game on Monday and our Assembly Line lesson is around the corner. The leaves are falling, the kids are smiling, and I can't help but enjoy the noise level in the classroom.

Anyone else in a good spot right now?

I love the Urbanization Game and the stress my students always feel while completing it. I have also had them figure out how much horsepower they have. I am not sure where I got the formula, but it is:

Number of times you stepped up the stairs in 1 minute × Your weight

Divide the result by 33,000

= Your HorsepowerThey seem to enjoy this, and it gets them up and moving.
