Recipe for Revolution

I had my students complete the Recipe for a Revolution activity. They had fun coming up with the ingredients needed for the Revolution, and it was a break from some of our other activities. They got creative with their steps, and watching their imagination come out was fun. I always look for fun and engaging ways for my students to engage with the material. I also did an activity that had the students make some of the leaders of the various revolutions into superheroes—anything to avoid the dreaded worksheets.
