It's an honor to be part of this collaborative space where we can all connect, learn from each other, and build something amazing together!

To kick things off, it would be great to introduce yourselves to the community. Follow the template below and share a bit about yourself!

  •  Pushpin Location
  •    OER Project Courses Teaching This Year
  •  Nerd Subject Areas of Expertise (g., world history, U.S. history, economics, English…)
  •  Sparkles Interesting Fact About You

Feel free to add any other interesting details or even share a fun picture of you with your pet! Let's get to know each other and build a strong, connected OER Project Community.

    Hey y'all!

I'm Katie Raby (rhymes with baby). I live in Georgia with my husband, 5 year old daughter, 3 dogs, and 5 chickens.

I'll be working on the AP World History: Modern OER Project.

This will be my 10th year teaching APWH, but I've also taught AP Euro, law, and contemporary issues.

Interesting fact about me: I have a goal to visit all 50 states before I turn 40. Here's where I've visited so far!

Such fun!  I have a lot of work to do and I notice I like to visit the coasts; not much visiting in the "fly over" states!

Yes, I can help you plan some fun things for NJ too. Pork roll (or Taylor Ham if you prefer), egg, & cheese on a bagel is a must for breakfast!

I would second Andrea Wong !  My mother-in-law is from Jersey and it is a delicacy indeed
