Hello all,

I am very excited to attend tomorrow's seminar on neuroeducation. As someone with a long teaching career I've noticed the importance of being equiped with useful methodologies to better serve my students. What are your expectations with this seminar? What are you goals and needs in relation to this topic? I would love to read your comments.

Thank you for posting this Laura Massa .

I am also excited to listen to Dr. Hardiman tomorrow! I'm eager to explore techniques to incorporate the Brain-Targeted Teaching Model for creating positive emotional and physical learning environments in my classroom to foster student engagement.

I'd also love to discuss how we can apply visual representations to help students connect complex historical concepts more deeply.

I hope to hear from other teachers about other visual strategies you have tried and how they have impacted student learning!

Mehreen Jamal these are so important aspects of the work with do in the classroom to create an impactful educational experience. Like you, I am eager to learn how visuals help students learn. I use a lot of visual stimuli in my teaching. I am the first one who needs to "see" things to conceptualize ideas and processes.

Laura, I plan on attending as well. I'm excited. I once heard the statement that "our students may come to school having forgotten many things, but they will always have their brains with them."  I'm excited to learn more about how to support those wonderful brains in their learning.

     Count me in!

I love learning about current best practices when it comes to brain science and learning. I am hoping to refresh the theory and also look at practical strategies for how to apply the theories in real-life on-the-go classroom situations!

I feel like 2024 is the year of "look at this new transformative AI tool!" A few examples from this week: a coworker showed me the "Transform" button in Word that can turn notes into a Powerpoint or Sway presentation and Adriane's post about Google Notebook LM's many unique features.

Hopefully this session can help me to use some of these tools (or plan the old fashioned way) with maximum efficiency. Reaching students feels harder than ever sometimes.

This was a great session. And the added bonus that I. had no anticipated was the chance to learn from fellow attendees.  I'm going to be concept mapping with my students very very soon.

I decided this year that one of my quarterly assessments was going to be an extended Drawing the Frames and after seeing Dr. Hardiman's presentation, I feel vindicated in using an arts integration to assess student learning.
