AI Seating Charts

Has anyone used AI for making variable seating charts? It's fantastic! You can tell AI that certain students cannot sit near each other (obviously not using full names, maybe just initials to ensure student privacy).  AI will take any variables and give you different options to save planning time!

Hey Brad Vonck , I know that Bryan Dibble does this all the time.

What I still wonder about is how they come out. Is it just lists of kids in groups? I can't imagine that ChatGPT can fill in a graphic chart, right?

There are a few different websites, and then premium versions too, and I know on the premium ChatGPT that it can do visuals.  I'll see if I can find a reliable free service.

Yeah the free version doesn't do it well on chatgpt.  I'll see if there is a better option.

Thanks for going the extra mile.

Just getting the lists according to specified parameters is great. You can write the names on your seating chart graphic. But if AI sorted the names and spatially arranged them, that would save some time!

Absolutely!  AI remembers whatever you tell it.  Imagine in the near future multiple teachers coordinating seating charts and groups across multiple classes using AI.  We can break up bad pairings forever!!

Let's hope we don't have to deal with the same bad pairings FOREVER!!
