Google Classroom Integration just a link to webpage?

I have watched the videos on sharing resources through Google Classroom (new interface), however all it does is post a link, not embed. What gives?

I am having to open the resource and make a copy in my google drive, and then share in Classroom via my google drive with the "make a copy for each student". This is like 3 extra steps from the video demonstrating how to share the resource directly in Classroom on the Help page. 

What am I missing? (I have tried this in multiple courses)

In order to quickly share activities as Google Docs to Google Classroom you need to start on the activity page, click the Share icon and choose Google Classroom. Then, the remaining steps in the video are accurate. We will work to get this video updated to avoid further confusion.
