Okay, to be perfectly honest. I am having a hard time understanding the concept of Frames, which is making it difficult to teach them to the kids. Example, Alphonse the Camel. Please help.

Rebecca, you are probably not the only one experiencing a disconnect teaching/defining the Frames with the students. What do you think would be helpful to include to help clear those up, for both students and the teachers? These are pretty critical for the course, so it's important we get these right early on!
I think a video that shows the "draw the frames" activity being done in a group would be very helpful. It's a large concept, but the examples presented seem minimal. I am not certain what the students are expected to learn or how to utilize them in later units.
I also created this graphic organizer to guide the students through the process of viewing the first 4 introductory videos. Draw the Frames Graphic Organizer
Hey John, thanks for commenting.
I guided them through previewing the questions for the first video, and being prepared to respond at the pauses. Then they proceeded independently. I only did 2 videos at a time. Honestly, it was for my own benefit, in that I didn't want to have to have those conversations orally. Many of my students would not have engaged in that context.
This is my first experience with the OER Project curriculum. It has been challenging...Now trying to figure out the "claim testing" activity....

Tim Rucho , there is a learning curve. The Community has been a big help. I know I've struggled with getting the point across. Here's a link some posts on claims testing. I'd check out the one from Anne Koschmider .
Let me know how it goes.
