Just used the Economic Systems Simulation and it went well.  I was able to pick up cheap holiday Kisses as Valentine kisses are now on the shelves! After the activity, the students Close Read    the Rise of the Proletariat  My measure of success was the Warm up for today.  Excellent answers and much better than last year!

  • Yay! I am so glad this worked well! I had a student teacher do this in my class many years back now and it worked great with general education students as well. This is usually when we get into the discussion of how you really cannot have freedom and equality in the strictest sense at the same time. It makes for a great conversation with students. Plus, the kids love the extra treat for the day, haha!
