Pacing in AP and On-level courses

Hi there -

I am using the OER World History Project almost exclusively for the first time this year, and have used the 1200-present curriculum with my Honors-level sophomores,  I see a lot of crossover between the two, for which I am thankful, but am not moving in lockstep, as each course has somewhat different goals and outcomes (and deadlines!).  I'm finding it a bit challenging to keep track of what I have said and done in each class, though.  What's your strategy for teaching similar but not identical curricula?  How do you keep track?

Our 10th grade honors program is really different from AP World, so we haven’t had this problem in particular. It’s also embedded with the on-level students.
We are sometimes disrupted by special assemblies, dismissals and such, so I have a similar problem. Here’s what I do:  I generally keep a document with lesson agenda, and will add a comment on it if I did something with one class but not the other.
