26/27 AP Exam Updates

Now that our school year is winding down, I'm thinking ahead to next school year and the changes to the writing portion of the AP exam. I'm pretty sure the fall version of me will be happier if current me has some resources socked away, so I am planning to sub out SAQ prompts without stimuli in favor of those with stimuli, revamp LEQ prompts, and look for some good DBQs to use earlier in the course.

In the past, I have introduced the SAQ in Unit 1, the LEQ in Unit 2, and the DBQ in Unit 4. However, now that the LEQ is going to be broader in scope and the DBQ can cover content from any unit, I'm wondering if I should rethink my approach.

How are you going to adapt instruction to the FRQ updates? Let's brainstorm together!

Thank you for the update, Bridgette OConnor ! It's hard to say how many revised prompts the College Board will provide (they were pretty sparse when the AP Psych exam format changed two years ago, so the first year was rough going), so it's a relief to know that OER will have updated resources!
