Drawing the Frames of an empire

This year is my first time teaching WHP and I have just launched into the first group assessment piece. I have tweaked the drawing the frames activity to make it fit into the theme of Empires.

I would love some feedback and suggestions on how it can be improved

I see some real strengths in what you have created.  I like how you have worked in collaborative learning and students choice.  Students have choice in both what they are studying and what they are producing.  Something that may be improved is that you are presenting a lot of information in slides 4-6 right in between the sides where you inform students of what they are choosing from learning about and what they will be choosing to do.  I'm wondering if it might be better to put the information before the project details or after, rather than right in the middle?

Something that I cam across recently and I am trying to work it into my practice is this TedTalk about Powerpoints. It's worth a watch.
