Foraging Simulation Feedback/Suggestions

I teach BHP but I was taking at look at the Early Humans era in Origins to see if there was anything I could use.  The foraging simulation sounds fun to me.  Before I do it, I'd like to know if anyone has any suggestions on how best to plan and execute this activity.  Are there any modifications that you've made? Can you make it into a whole period (40 minutes) or is it really just meant to be somewhat of an opening activity to something else?

I was looking at the opener in the Foraging section of BHP, and I'm looking to beef it up (pun intended). Has anyone come up with a different way to do this? I see that Brian Moore had a virtual option, but neither link works. Hoping for a share for some inspiration! Todd Nussen Andrea Wong Ane Lintvedt Adam Esrig

Unfortunately I used Jamboard and that resource is no longer available. I did not update the assignment using a different resource because I am no longer teaching World History. There are several options available but key features would be that a large number of users can manipulate the displayed screen at the same time simulating the scramble for resources.

Thanks Brian Moore The Big History opener for the foraging lesson is a little quicker/more streamlined than I think I would prefer. I was hoping to add to it by creating some sort of narrative on here's how you fared based on your selection. I was envisioning something like when you take a survey and get a little paragraph at the end about. I'll brainstorm ideas and maybe use something new next year!

I would run that through AI.  I've gotten some good responses with the right prompting lately.
