Today I did the Contagion! activity for the first time. I avoided it the last few years because it felt a little too real with current events but my students have felt more comfortable bringing up the plague this year so I decided it was time. I generally prefer to have slides to go along with activities like this, especially on the first go, to help with the procedure and pacing. Making the slides also helps me "rehearse" the lesson in advance. With these, I didn't call it Contagion so I wouldn't give away the surprise!
