Hey everyone!
Maybe some of you have time left before the year starts, but my inservice week started today, so it's getting real! My schedule changed a bit and I lost my finance class, but I still want to see if I can make connections in my 1200 course. Has anyone ever connected joint stock companies (British East India, Dutch VOC) to the modern stock market? I was thinking I could have students "adopt" different companies and make it a contest over the course of a month or so in November/December when we're on the topic to see who gains the most and do a reflection.
Thoughts?
