Our Interconnected World - Small Class Size??

Yes, I have done this activity in a smaller class period. I grouped the nearby regions so that we could still include all of the locations. There were a couple of instances where students were representing regions that were referenced back-to-back, in these cases I just had them either A. double up and have two different colors of yarn at once; or B. throw the same ball of yarn in the air to themselves just so the rest of the class could see that the yarn was "traveling" to another location. I had 12 students. It certainly did not run as smoothly as my bigger classes did, but the hiccups made it very entertaining for all of us!
