I have used variations of the OER Cold War simulation in my courses. Does anyone have any good resources for linking activities to virtual field trips? I guess I would be looking for some primary source documentation to use as a source that could then be tied into the overall theme of the Cold War.
I visited the LBJ museum when visiting family in Texas and there is a replica of the "hotline" between the White House and the Kremlin established after the Cuban Missile Crisis which was cool to see. There are also quite a few really interesting phone conversation recordings throughout the museum. I could not finish the entire conversation between LBJ and Jackie Kennedy after the assassination. Way too sad for me.
